Please Take Note!
A Big Thank You goes to Dream Carriage Adventures......Dream Carriage Adventures will be offering rides to festival goers for donations -- Mrs. Porter will then be donating those donations back to the Mesick Lions Club.  She also donates her time,  her horse,  Sameri (I am not sure about the spelling of the horses name!!) and her Lady's Riding Carriage for the Mushroom Festival Princes and Princesses.  We would like to extend our gratitude to the Wexford Sands for their generous donation to our festival. Come One Come All and show us your talent on Friday at the talent show. See the schedule for more information.  Also check out the community Dance featuring Brian Nolf who is bringing his creative talents back to Northern Michigan as he already has to the world.   It’s time to experience the next evolution of country class, and Brian Glenn Nolf is leading the way. Come hear him perform on Friday at 6 pm.
Spring brings GREAT things like Mothers Day, Steelhead fishing, beautiful flowers and woodland surprises such as tasteful morel mushrooms with of course our annual Mesick Mushroom Festival. Mesick MI. is the mushroom capital in the United States. Come enjoy our adventurous fun filled days, for people of all ages. Carnival rides for the thrill seekers, crafts and hobbies or flea market for treasure hunters, ball games for the players. Several contests for mushroom hunters, horseshoe toss, horse pull. View our Grand Parade. Have your blood pressure or sugar tested before tasting lots of good food like BBQ chicken, baked goods, pasties, a fish dinner and of course the usual fair goodies. Then wash it all down at our beer tent. Look for cash at our money hunt, games for kids of all ages. But you can walk around holding hands with your loved ones, or try our 5 K walk/run. And for all you mud pie makers as kids. Click for Mesick, Michigan ForecastDon't throw mud with your (words) tongue or your hands. Watch the Mug bog racers throw some really wet earth up into the air. It's safer this way. So start your engines, let the mud fly, as we ride rides and reach for the sky. The sky truly is the limit for quality family- friendly activities, fun, finds, fast thrills and food at our great hometown festival.    Mesick is a small town, with a big heart. Come join us so we may help stimulate your heart, bring back old memories. Then grab those mesh bags to shake spore droppings along the way and enjoy getting out into fresh air in the woods picking some of the biggest you'll ever find, those simply marvelous “Humongous Fungus”!!! “Good luck” to all you fungi shroomers out there. We also have other great extraordinary tasting mushrooms that pop their head up, in our surrounding area so you can enjoy more festivals and picking fun through out the year. View our lodging and sponsors pages for a great place to stay overnight or for more then a day. Take your 1st day for rest and relaxation with the family, the 2nd day for mushroom hunting and celebration, the 3rd day to bargain hunt at festival, flea market, free mom rides or deals from local shroom hunters. This makes for a fabulous complete vacation or day for all you and all of us in this area community!

“OH SHH” Mothers Day (surprise, mom rides free with child) have fun happy mommies!

The Village of Mesick, Area Sponsors & The Mesick Lions Club would like to give a big THANKS to All of the folks who attend our festival, for without YOU it could not happen. We look forward to seeing you all this year for our 54th Annual Mesick-Mushroom festival
